Insomnia is one of the most common sleep problems in the general population. There are many different reasons for insomnia and different manifestations of it.
Anxiety often affects people's sleep. Most of us will experience some kind of sleep problem at some stage of our lives. If you are regularly having problem in getting to sleep, your general physical and mental health can be deteriorated.
You can help to promote a good sleep with the following sequence.

Step 1:
Relax the diaphragm: work your thumb across the foot to the outer side, following the diaphragm line. (See foot chart)

Step 2:
Place your thumbs in the centre of the diaphragm line of both feet. As your partner breathes out, press in gently with your thumbs. (See foot chart)

|
Step 3:
Work on the neck of all the toes to remove any tension that has built up in the neck muscles. (See foot chart)

|
|
Step 4:
Work the abdominal reflexes (stomach) to relieve tenstion there. (See foot chart)
